It should go without saying: Grass-fed beef is different than conventional grain-fed or grain-finished beef, especially when it comes to the way you cook it.

With all of our beef cuts and packages, please keep rarer than you would conventional meat—in doing so, you really get to experience the unique flavor of our meat. The timing is crucial with grass-fed beef—a moment too long and it could ruin the entire thing, so please be conscious of this when you are cooking.

For our beloved steaks, they don't need much. Maybe just a touch of salt and a bit of pepper and a quick 3-4 minute sear on both sides in a cast-iron skillet. Let sit for 5 minutes and then serve! Easy to cut and tender to the mouth. And with our ground beef and sausage packages, please also keep timing in mind. They don't need much and are better when left more rare on the inside. Here are the ranch, we use our ground beef to make a delicious beef tartar! We highly recommend!
